Where it comes from

Winnie-the-Pooh was published in 1926, written by A. A. Milne and drawn by E. H. Shepard. That edition — the text and the drawings together — entered the public domain in the United States, and this app is built from it: the plates are Shepard’s own line art, scanned and restored rather than redrawn. The app is sold on the United States App Store for that reason.
